DESCRIPTION

Upward Basketball is a recreational and instructional league promoting character, self-esteem, and fellowship. Upward is open to ALL CHILDREN, regardless of skill or ability. The end of the season includes an awards ceremony and league award for each participant.

WHEN IS UPWARD?

Practices are held for 1 hour, one night per week (Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday).

EVALUATIONS

Evaluation Days:

• Thursday, October 17^th 5:30 – 7:30PM
• Tuesday, October 29^th 5:30 – 7:30PM
• Sunday, November 3^rd 2:00 – 4:00PM

AGES

Upward is open to ALL CHILDREN, regardless of skill or ability.

Basketball:

• 1st Grade through 6th Grade

Cheer:

• Kindergarten through 6th Grade

COST

Pricing:

• Basketball Registration: $120 per player (discounts available for multi-player families)
• Cheer Registration: $120 per cheerleader (discounts also available for multi-participant families)

We want all children to be able to play!  If cost is an issue, please contact Cameron about scholarships.

PRACTICE & GAME LOCATION:

Practices begin November 18th. Games run Saturdays from January 4th through February 22nd

Practice:

• Practices Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings (5:00 – 8:00PM)  week of November 18^th and December 2^nd, then resuming the week of the first game (December 30^th), ending the week of the final game (February 17^th).

Games:

• Saturdays, (tentatively) January 4^th – February 22^nd. Tentative because we may have to push it back to beginning Jan 11^th once we receive coach feedback.
